So once I was bashing Tobey Maguire for some reason with [info]jubileslie and suddenly we happened upon Spider-Man 2 filming on location! Oh noez! Tobey Maguire will websling me!

Yesterday I happened upon L&O: SVU filming at the exact same location. At first, I thought it was a real Adopt-a-Pet-athon or whatever they're actually called, where you can adopt pets on the spot like they have in Union Square. Upon closer inspection, the dogs were not literally in cages; the "cages" could easily be removed by lifting a handle at the top. Hm, okay, I thought, a newfangled notion by the gummymint, we are near City Hall after all!

Then I realized no pet adoptions would occur when I saw Mariska Hargitay and Christopher Meloni. Like, wow, that's kinda a major clue it's a set, besides the fact that someone started telling the crowd to move away from a particular spot as they would start filming soon. I was so focused on the dogs, I didn't realize the actors were there until after the guy started alerting everyone to move.

So long, 1(212)219-3003. I hardly knew ye. Seems the 219 bit hangs out around below Houston a lot so maybe the Knitting Factory will finally adopt you so annoying people calling my number won't ask for the Knitting Factory before I direct them to the actual number anymore?

I am officially over thar (har) in Breukelen. I shall forever be a loyal Manhattanite, though. Now I am an outsider inside looking out! Yeah, I don't know what I wrote either.

Now I can finally get back to more important things, such as squeeing over my fandoms, reading complete strangers' blog entries and cyber-stalking Lenny and Carl.

First, it was maple syrup; now the smell of gas wafting through the city? Quick, we'd better start an office pool now on what will be next. I say tacos.

I don't know if I can keep away from the Veronica Mars episode recaps from tonight, either. I really want to see the season finale next week with untainted eyes. I hope to holy heaven the FUCKING NETS ARE GONE FOREVER BY MAY 9. If it were the Knicks, I wouldn't be as angry. But the Nets? COME ON! I DON'T CARE.

Damn you, May 9: Munich, Scrubs Season 3, The New World, VM season 2 finale (WHO CRASHED THE BUS?!?!??!!??!?!!). I don't think I'll get TNW since there's supposed to be a three-hour cut that'll be released later.

Apparently David Blaine is underwater at Lincoln Center. I want to check it out, but at night. Just to see what he does. He can't sleep, yeah? My gut says to taunt him. But my gut is also very hungry.
